
There is a busy slate of girls sports action tonight.
The Manitowoc Lincoln Ships open FRCC play at the JFK tonight, hosting the Notre Dame Academy Tritons of Green Bay.
The Ships, under Head Coach Mary Beth Dixon, come into the match prepared after a strong non-conference slate to begin the season.
They are 7 and 2 and are ranked 16th in the Division One MaxPreps poll.
Notre Dame has a record of 5 and 8, and much like the Ships, played a tough non-conference slate to begin their season.
Elsewhere, Roncalli plays at Sheboygan Falls, Valders travels to New Holstein, Chilton hosts Two Rivers, Kiel entertains Brillion, Sheboygan North travels to Green Bay Southwest, Sheboygan Lutheran hosts Ozaukee, Kohler heads up to Oconto, Cedar Grove-Belgium visits Living Word Lutheran, Random Lake hosts Elkhart Lake Glenbeulah, Oostburg is home for Hilbert, West de Pere is at Green Bay Preble, Pulaski visits Bay Port, Ashwaubenon entertains De Pere and Green Bay East is at Menasha.
Meanwhile, in girls tennis, Manitowoc Lincoln is home for Green Bay Preble in an FRCC dual match to be played at Lincoln Park.
The Ships are 1 and 1 in conference and are coming off a 7-0 victory at Green Bay Southwest last Thursday.
The senior doubles tandem of Taylor Peterson and Jorin Popp has yet to lose a match this season.
