There are two meetings on the City of Manitowoc calendar for today (September 9th).
The Police and Fire Commission will be in the Public Safety Building at 4:30 p.m., where they will get their usual monthly reports.
They will then enter a closed session to get Police and Fire Department employee performance updates.
Then, at 6:00 p.m., the Plan Commission will convene in the Council Chambers for a pair of public hearings for Conditional Use Permits.
The first is for the operation of a church and school at 916 Pine Street, submitted by Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran.
The second was submitted by The Neighborhood, which is looking to use the soon-to-be former offices of St. Francis of Assisi Parish at 702 State Street as a warming shelter.
The group will also get an update on the Chapter 15 Zoning Code, and another regarding the River Point Subdivision.
