A local outdoorsman group has a couple of events coming up later this month.
The Sheboygan and Manitowoc Chapter of Pheasants Forever will be selling brats at Miesfeld’s in Sheboygan on September 20th.
The group will be on hand to not only sell delicious brats, but they will also be available to teach guests more about the organization and how your donation helps build and improve wildlife habitats.
The brat fry will run from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., or until the meats are gone.
Then, on September 27th, the group will host a Learn to Hunt event at Thunderbird Game Farm in Chilton.
The free event is open to all youth or adult first-time hunters with no license required.
Participants will learn from an experienced hunter and a canine companion.
Ammunition for 12 or 20 gauge shotguns will be provided, however, guests must bring their own gun.
Lunch is included.
