The Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra is celebrating 75 years of music, community, and showcasing the classics.
On Wednesday, September 24th, the MSO will host an end-of-summer 75th season kick-off party, which they are calling the MSO Backyard BBQ.
The event is being hosted by longtime supporter of the group, Bill Fricke, and serves as an opportunity to come together to show support for the MSO, while reveling in an evening of BBQ delights, musical performances, and joyful camaraderie.
The BBQ will begin at 4:30 p.m., with dinner at 5:30. Suzie and the Detonators will supply the music, starting at 5:00 p.m.
MSO Executive Director Peggy Pitz thanked Fricke for his generosity, saying, “His commitment to the arts and to our orchestra is truly commendable, and we’re honored to have the opportunity to gather in such a beautiful setting. I look forward to celebrating 75 years of MSO with friends and supporters in a casual and fun environment.”
Tickers are available at ManitowocSymphony.org/BBQ for $35 per person.
All proceeds directly benefit the Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra and its mission to enrich the lives through the power of music.
