A Mel Brooks classic will be coming to the stage in Sheboygan later this month.
From September 26th through October 4th, the Sheboygan Theater Company will put on several performances of Young Frankenstein on the stage at the Leslie W. Johnson Theatre.
The stage production is based on the iconic 1974 comedy film of the same name, which showcased the talents of Gene Wilder, Peter Boyle, and Cloris Leachman, just to name a few.
The musical features an original score by Mel Brooks, including audience favorites like “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” “He Vas My Boyfriend,” and “The Transylvania Mania.”
The show will be directed by Lorenz “Larry” Marcus, who brings more than 27 years of experience in directing, performing, and teaching to the Sheboygan Theater Company.
