The SS Badger will not be making its way to Manitowoc today (September 5th).
Lake Michigan Carferry (LMC), which runs the Badger, reported that the forecast on Lake Michigan calls for gale-force winds and waves reaching 12 to 16 feet.
LMC says they understand the disappointment and inconvenience the decision causes and apologize for the impact it has on travel plans.
People who purchased tickets for today’s sail can get a full refund by calling or emailing Lake Michigan Carferry.
The Badger is still expected to sail on Saturday (September 6th), with the weather permitting.
