The Woodland Dunes Nature Center and Preserve is hosting another fundraising event, this time with a beer theme.
The Heiknbrew gets underway tomorrow at the preserve from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
For those not pre-registered, the cost for the day of the event is $65, which includes tickets for beer and wine tastings, as well as a choice of a burger or brat.
Designated drivers will also get a meal ticket with alcohol-free options. Attendees have the opportunity to explore the trails of Woodland Dunes, visit various craft breweries, and enjoy live music.
Funds from the Heiknbrew will go toward supporting the nature-based education programs and conservation efforts on the 1,500-acre preserve.
The event is for those 21 and older.
