There is only one meeting slated to start off the month of September in the City of Manitowoc.
The Finance Committee will be in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m., where the public will be given time to comment.
Then, after discussing some items on the 2026 budget, the group will review a Brownfield Community-Wide Assessment Grant Agreement for $500,000.
That money will be used to complete an environmental assessment for the River Point District and the former Lakeshore Mall property, and to assist private entities with environmental due diligence during property acquisition.
The group will also review a two-year operator license application in a closed session.
