
A Michigan man was arrested in Oshkosh late last week for a weapons situation.
The Oshkosh Police Department responded to a weapons complaint in the 600 block of Jackson Street just after 4:30 Friday evening (August 29th).
A man was said to be inside a residence with a gun, and while police were en route to the scene, the man allegedly fired the gun.
A man matching the suspect’s description was seen outside the home when police arrived, and he was immediately detained without further incident.
The man was only identified publicly as a 50-year-old man from Michigan, whom the residents of the home knew.
He was arrested on charges of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Felony Possession of a Firearm, and Possession of a Narcotic Drug.
