Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce is celebrating the tenth year of the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin contest.
Since 2016, the organization has asked the public what they think was the most unique, intriguing, and coolest product made in Wisconsin that year.
Eastern Wisconsin has fared very well over the years, with companies like the Oshkosh Corporation, De Pere’s Uncle Mike’s Bake Shoppe, Pierce Manufacturing, and Plexus Corp of Appleton, and Manitowoc’s own Broadwind Heavy Fabrications all taking home the top prize.
Last year’s winner also came from Eastern Wisconsin.
After years of making it deep into the competition, Jolly Good Soda, made by Krier Foods out of Random Lake, was named the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin.
The nomination period has begun for this year’s tournament.
All are encouraged to nominate a company and product now through September 12th at MadeInWis.com.
Voting will begin for the opening round on September 22nd.
