The Capitol Civic Centre was recently granted a generous gift from a local endowment.
The Helen Gajdys Reis and Lester Reis Endowment Fund donated $10,000 to the local theater to help support its children’s programming.
The Capitol noted that the donation will be used to “provide a free week-long children’s theater camp in summer 2026 and free tickets to our Adventure Series performances for local students.”
The Helen Gajdys Reis and Lester Reis Endowment Fund was founded over 25 years ago and has donated more than $70,000 this year to a variety of local organizations.
