Wisconsin Lawmakers Introduce Bill to Ban Guns on College Campuses

Democratic legislators Kelda Roys and Brienne Brown have introduced a bill that would ban concealed firearms on college campuses across Wisconsin.

While K-12 schools already prohibit guns, Wisconsin is currently one of just eleven states that still allow concealed carry on college grounds.

Representative Brown said the proposal is a common-sense measure that both sides of the political aisle can support.

Senator Roys added that students and staff shouldn’t have to live in fear while on campus.
