Authorities in Madison are searching for Efren Flores Gutierrez.
This comes after he fled the Dane County Courthouse during his trial.
Gutierrez was on trial for battery charges.
He then left the courtroom just before the jury announced a guilty verdict for substantial battery on Wednesday.
The Madison Police Department is asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.
