An annual neighborhood beautification project will be heading to the City of Plymouth this year.
Habitat for Humanity Lakeside will be bringing the 10th annual Rock the Block home repair and beautification event to Plymouth from September 25th to the 27th between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day.
The Rock the Block revitalization event brings together volunteers, homeowners, and community partners with the common goal of helping out neighbors in need with projects including yard maintenance, porch and window repairs, and everything in between.
This year, the focus of volunteers will be on Orchard Lane, Elizabeth Street, North Milwaukee Street, and North Street.
Rock the Block, along with numerous other programs offered by Habitat for Humanity Lakeside, aims to promote well-maintained neighborhoods and homes, allowing families to thrive, especially those who may be unable, financially or physically, to keep their homes in good shape.
Sponsorship opportunities for the event are available for companies, groups, or individuals interested; however, the deadline to submit sponsorships will be on September 10th.
