The Sheboygan Area School District (SASD) is welcoming a new faculty member.
The district has announced that Michelle Bernhardt has been appointed to serve as the new Assistant Principal of Urban Middle School.
This new chapter for Bernhardt marks a return to the district, as she previously worked as an Impact Advocate and Reserve Administrator for Farnsworth Middle School.
In the time between her stints with the SASD, Bernhardt was a District Behavior Management Support Teacher with the Green Bay Area Public School District, which she said allowed her to have “incredible opportunities to support both students and educators.”
Stepping into the role ready to get to work, Assistant Principal Bernhardt stated, “By partnering with teachers, families, and our broader educational community, I am committed to ensuring that every learner, and every educator, feels seen, supported, and inspired.”
The first day of school at Urban Middle School, with Bernhardt joining the leadership group, will be on Tuesday (September 2nd).
