Another group of veterans will be heading to Washington D.C. next week thanks to Old Glory Honor Flight.
The organization will be filling up a plane with those who served in the military between 1941 and 1975, along with a group of guardians who ensure every veteran has a safe and memorable experience.
Mission 76 will return to the Appleton International Airport on Tuesday, September 2nd, after “an awesome day in DC.”
Parking is free, as is admission to the Welcome Home Celebration Parade within the airport.
The public is encouraged to arrive no earlier than 7:00 p.m., as the flight is anticipated to land at around 9:15 p.m.
