A faculty member at Kohler High School has been honored by a prestigious university.
The district has shared that high school counselor Courtney Nachreiner has been awarded the Golden Guide Award from the University of Notre Dame.
Nachreiner has received this distinction for her work helping Kohler students navigate their way through the college search and application process.
In their announcement, the Kohler School District described the award-winning counselor as “meticulous and develops strong relationships with students, going above and beyond to support them in their goals toward college and career readiness.”
The Golden Guide Awards are handed out annually by Notre Dame to teachers and counselors alike for excellence in advising students as they make decisions on what comes next after graduating high school.
