A Manitowoc-based financial institution was ranked very high in American Banker’s “Best Credit Union to Work For” listing.
Not only is UnitedOne Credit Union one of only three Wisconsin credit unions to make the list, but the local organization was ranked #2 in the nation.
American Banker specifically recognized UnitedOne’s call center, where employees work four days per week, but are paid for five.
This is the third consecutive year UnitedOne ranks in the Top 10, improving from when it was No. 6 in 2024 and No. 7 in 2023.
UnitedOne has 91 employees and $310 million in assets, making it first amongst credit unions with asset sizes between $200-$500 million.
UnitedOne CEO Kim Rooney called it a “privilege” to be recognized, saying, “Thanks to the dedication of our Leadership Team and Board of Directors, we’ve created a workplace culture that inspires our employees to thrive.”
The other Wisconsin Credit Unions to make the cut were Kohler Credit Union, which ranked #58, and Simplicity Credit Union out of Marshfield, which was #35.
Taking the top spot was Las Vegas-based One Nevada Credit Union.
