The man accused of stalking an individual at a Manitowoc bar has posted his bail.
24-year-old Micha E Taylor was given a $500 cash bail by Court Commissioner Patricia Koppa on charges of Stalking, Disorderly Conduct, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Police were called to Chewy’s Bar on North 8th Street at 2:30 Saturday morning (August 23rd) on a report of a fight in progress.
After breaking up the fight, investigators learned that Taylor had been following an individual around the bar, repeatedly grabbing their arm.
The victim reported similar situations at other local bars, and other women said he had approached them throughout the evening, noting he had been “an issue” all night.
When questioned, Taylor allegedly told police the victim was “beautiful” and that he “couldn’t help himself”.
As a part of his bail, Taylor was ordered to maintain absolute sobriety and to have no contact with the victim or any premises they occupy.
He is due back in court on September 2nd for his initial appearance in Branch 2.
