The upcoming long holiday weekend will affect trash pick-ups in the City of Sheboygan.
The Sheboygan Department of Public Works has announced that with Monday (September 1st) being Labor Day, there will be no garbage or recycling collection.
Monday’s regularly scheduled locations will have their curbside items picked up on Tuesday (September 2nd).
The rest of the week will follow the same pattern, finishing with those scheduled for regular trash collection on Fridays having their items picked up on Saturday (September 6th).
In addition to trash collection changes, the holiday weekend will also affect hours at the Sheboygan Recycling Center.
The Recycling Center will be closed on Labor Day, but will recommence regular scheduled hours at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday next week.
More information on the changes can be found online by visiting the Sheboygan Department of Public Works Facebook page.
