An area police department has partnered with a well-known toymaker who enjoys giving back to the community.
The Neenah Police Department has shared that they recently received a large donation from Rick Brunner of Rick’s Toybox.
The donation came into Neenah PD School Resource Officers Erica Geschrei and Brandon Deich, who received a set of handmade wooden games that will be used in elementary and middle schools.
Brunner’s giving spirit did not end there, however, as he also donated 100 wooden car care packages.
Each of these car care packages was also handcrafted and intended to bring smiles to the children on the receiving end.
With warm regards for the generosity shown by Brunner and those with Rick’s Toybox, Neenah PD stated, “We’re incredibly thankful for the generosity and for the time, talent, and heart that goes into every toy they build. These donations will bring connection, fun, and comfort to the students and families we serve.”
Rick’s Toybox has a long history of helping out the community, including helping out with donations to last year’s Shop with a Cop event in Two Rivers.
