There may be additional apartments coming to Two Rivers.
According to a memo from the city, a local licensed general contractor is proposing to amend a public utility development plan for the convent at St. Mark’s Church on Victory Street to allow for eight residential rental units.
The council will be holding a public hearing for the development plan in September.
The original agreement would have converted the building into a four-unit apartment complex while preserving its existing historical exterior.
Once the building is fully leased, four additional units will be built.
The project is expected to take approximately three years to complete both buildings.
