
A nonprofit in Sheboygan County is highlighting its biggest donors over the past year.
The United Way of Sheboygan County has shared its top ten most generous workplaces during the 2024-2025 United Way Campaign.
Coming in at number three is Johnsonville, which the United Way said was pivotal in fueling meaningful change for thousands of families in the county.
Second was the Kohler Company, whose continued community outreach through the United Way has spanned more than 90 years, dating back to 1934 when the nonprofit was known as the Sheboygan Welfare Fund.
The number one most generous workplace in the county, however, was Sargento.
This marks the third consecutive year the global cheese company has come in at the top, thanks to its deep commitment to the community and an enduring culture of giving.
Rounding out the top five were Masters Gallery and Plastics Engineering Company or PLENCO. The other companies to make the list in Sheboygan County included Bemis, Rockline, Froedtert, Torginol, and Acuity.
Investments in the United Way campaign help fund numerous initiatives, including youth mental health, early childhood education, and much more.
