There are a pair of Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (August 19th).
Up first is the Finance Committee, which will be in the basement of the Heritage Center at 5:30 p.m.
After hearing comments from the public, the group will consider some matters pertaining to the sale of tax-deeded property.
They will also review a report of economic interest and the daily average population report for July.
Then, the County Board will meet in the upper level of the Heritage Center at 6:00 p.m.
Tim Ryan, the Director of Planning, Parks and Land Information Department, will read a letter regarding Maribel Caves before the Board honors the Denmark and Mishicot girls softball teams, both of which won state titles.
They will also issue a commendation for Eva Salm as the Manitowoc County Fairest of the Fair, before giving the public time to comment.
Chairman Tyler Martell will then appoint Dan Heilman to the District 4 seat before the group reviews several zoning map amendments.
