Milwaukee police have arrested a woman after discovering the decomposed body of an infant in a cardboard box inside a local apartment.
Officers responded to reports of a strong odor on August 13 and made the discovery.
The mother reportedly claimed someone told her to conceal the baby in the bedroom where it was found.
Detectives say the woman made incoherent statements during questioning.
