A hospice care facility in De Pere has received a major grant from the K.C. Stock Foundation.
Unity Hospice will be using the $25,000 grant to support its Supportive Care Management (SCM) program, which provides compassionate, home-based palliative care to individuals in Northeast Wisconsin facing serious illness.
The program focuses on symptom relief and quality of life through skilled nursing visits, 24/7 nurse consultation, emotional and spiritual support, and connection to critical resources.
Unity Executive Director Alisa Gerke said in response, “This generous grant ensures that more people throughout our region can receive the relief, dignity, and support they deserve during some of life’s most difficult moments.”
