Madison police are investigating a domestic incident that occurred early Tuesday.
The incident was said to have taken place sometime in the morning at an apartment on Atticus Way.
According to reports, a woman who was believed to be intoxicated stabbed a man in the chest with a pocket knife and also attempted to throw boiling water on him.
She has been arrested and is facing charges related to domestic disorderly conduct.
