The Luxemburg Police Department needs help finding a gas thief.
Police Chief Chris Gulbrand is advising the public to be on the lookout for a late 1990s to early 2000s Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Wisconsin license plate of AZY-4589.
The driver of the vehicle has driven off three times after getting gasoline.
It’s tough to determine who’s stealing the gas because the person uses a gas pump that’s obstructed from a camera, and the license plate is not registered to the vehicle itself.
The plate appears to be registered to 24-year-old Isaiah Jamar Torres from Clintonville, but the vehicle may actually belong to a worker on a large farm in the area.
One picture shared with the public shows what looks to be a white man wearing a dark shirt, blue shorts, and black shoes.
Anyone with information is asked to call Luxemburg Police at 920-845-5381.
