A rescue unfolded Monday as a father and son were pulled from the Menomonee River.
Witnesses said they heard distress calls and quickly formed a human chain to reach the pair.
Both individuals were brought to safety and transported to the hospital for treatment.
Menomonee Falls Fire Chief Joe Pulvermacher said the family’s dog, which the two were reportedly trying to save, remains missing.
