The weather may have caused a late kick-off, but the Sheboygan County SaberCats weren’t affected, as they dominated the River City Rough Riders Saturday night.
The final score was 20-6, but the game wasn’t really that close.
The Cats’ offense scored in three of their four possessions of the game, which was called at halftime due to poor behavior by the visiting Rough Riders.
Quarterback Justin Billiot threw for 189 yards and three touchdowns, a 66-yard bomb to Kaden Summerville, a 15-yarder to Tarell Jackson, and a 47-yard toss to Captain Steve Strong.
The defense continued its domination on the field, allowing just one score after a pass interference put the ball on the one-yard line.
With the win, the Cats move on to the Midwest United Football League Championship, their 5th trip in as many years.
