Award-winning actors and musicians are set to highlight an annual event hosted by the Kohler Foundation.
The foundation’s 81st season of the Distinguished Guest Series will begin on October 10th at 7:00 p.m. with a performance of Topsy Turvy.
Topsy Turvy is written and directed by notable actor and Academy Award winner Tim Robbins and performed by the Los Angeles-based The Actors’ Gang.
A second performance will follow on October 11th, featuring a thought-provoking talk with Robbins and NPR’s Fresh Air co-host Tonya Mosley.
Next up for the Distinguished Guest series will be a musical performance by seven-time Grammy Award-winning artist Jacob Collier in February.
Collier’s success has included collaborations with Coldplay, Hans Zimmer, and many others.
He will be followed by fellow artists Lyle Lovett and his acoustic group, who have multiple hits, including If I Had a Boat and You’ve Got a Friend in Me, a duet with Randy Newman from the Movie Toy Story.
Rounding out the months-long event will be Step Afrika!, one of the world’s leading professional dance companies specializing in percussive dance and traditional African movement.
Season tickets for the event will go on sale on August 20th, while individual tickets will be made available on September 8th.
