
There are a pair of meetings scheduled for today (August 11th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Manitowoc Public Utilities Commission will meet at their offices on South 8th Street at 4:00 p.m. where they will be joined by board members from Horizon Blends Pellets LLC.
Then, at 5:30 p.m., the Public Safety Committee will be in the Council Chambers, where the public will be given time to comment.
After getting their usual monthly reports, the group will consider Sex Offender Residency Board Appeals for Curtis Lee Suriano and Sean Mitten, and a prohibited dangerous animal objection submitted by James Surrells.
The committee will also review requests to install a stop sign at the intersection of South 8th and Columbus Streets, and for no parking on North 20th Street between Michigan and New York Avenues.
