
One person is in custody after a shooting in the City of Oshkosh.
WBAY reports that the Oshkosh Police Department was called to the area of West Irving Avenue and Central Street on Saturday (August 9th) just before 2:00 p.m. on reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, officers canvassed the area and located a 20-year-old victim who had suffered a gunshot wound while also discovering that the shooting occurred somewhere within the 600 block of Franklin Street.
The victim was treated and then transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
As of Saturday night, the shooter remained at large as Oshkosh PD began its investigation into the incident.
However, the suspect, a 17-year-old man, was arrested yesterday (August 10th) in the 1200 block of West 12th Avenue.
He was transported to the Winnebago County Jail, where he remains on a charge of First-Degree Attempted Homicide.
