The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has issued an Air Quality Advisory for Manitowoc, Kewaunee, and Door Counties until 11 p.m. this evening.
Pollution from down south is creating high ozone levels, coupled with high humidity and light winds, which will result in stagnant movement of air, creating Air Quality values to reach the “Unhealthy” category for sensitive groups.
Those who suffer from asthma or heart disease are asked to limit any outdoor or strenuous activities and stay indoors if possible.
Please keep quick-relief medicine handy if needed and contact your health provider if you experience any symptoms such as coughing or shortness of breath.
Seehafer Broadcasting will provide updates on the air quality forecasts. Visit airquality.wi.gov for more information.
