A local semi-pro football team begins its postseason run this weekend.
The Sheboygan County SaberCats will be taking on the River City Rough Riders at Lakeland University, with kick off scheduled for 4:00 Saturday afternoon.
The Cats have been a dominant force this year in the Midwest United Football League, going a perfect 9-0.
The North Region championship will be a rematch of week 1, where the Cats were victorious 22-19.
The Rough Riders are 6-2 on the season and knocked off the St. Paul Pioneers in the opening round.
The winner will take on either the Midwest Renegades, the #1 seed in the South Region, or the Illinois Cowboys for the MWUFL Championship.
