Nutt Hill Winter Park in Plymouth has received a major donation.
The soon-to-be-reopened ski hill has stated that a generous anonymous donor has gifted them a $100,000 matching donation.
This major donation comes after Nutt Hill announced that their goal is to raise $200,000 by October 1st, which is seen as the amount needed to complete the revitalization project ahead of reopening this winter.
Now halfway to their goal, the park is asking for donations to help reach their fundraising goal.
These donations will go towards park amenities including an enclosed warming shelter, a conveyor lift system, snowmaking and grooming equipment, and much more.
Those who donate $25 to $249 will receive Nutt Hill-branded merchandise, donors giving $250 to $999 will be recognized by name on a fireplace brick plaque in the warming shelter, and those giving $1,000 or more will receive a brick plaque along with recognition on a donor board.
Nutt Hill is yet to announce an official opening date, which will be weather-dependent later this year.
