
Softball teams from across the area will converge in Denmark today.
The tournament is split into two pools that will meet after pool play. Playing in Pool A are Denmark, Luxemburg-Casco, Kewaunee, and Marinette, while on the other side, competing are Freedom, Notre Dame, Two Rivers, and Wrightstown.
The teams will match up with the top two teams in each pool.
The Pool A 1st seed will face the Pool B 2nd seed, and vice versa.
Denmark, being the D2 State Champions, is looking to start their play on a high note while competing against some of the best teams in the state, including two teams that were part of their state tournament run.
The tournament is running from August 7th through August 9th at Circle Tap in Denmark, with games starting at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday night.
