The City of Sheboygan’s Recycling Center has dumped its proposed changes to hours of operation.
The Sheboygan Department of Public Works has shared that despite posting a change in their schedule, they will no longer be going forward with the change, and have gone back to regular hours of operation.
The proposed changes would have had the recycling center close at 3:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, cutting their hours by 12 hours a week.
However, the Residential Recycling Center will now continue to be open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday and until 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays. These will remain in place until November 30th, but beginning December 1st, they will be closed on Saturdays.
