Bond has been set for the two individuals who allegedly stole sandwiches from a Manitowoc gas station.
31-year-old Nicklaus J. Copus was given a $1,000 recognizance bond by Court Commissioner Patricia Koppa on two counts of Felony Bail Jumping, while 24-year-old Mackenzie L. Busalacchi signed two recognizance bonds totaling $3,500.
Between her two cases, she is facing charges of Retail Theft, Possession of THC, a subsequent offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Carrying a Concealed Knife, Possession of an Other Scheduled Drug, and eight counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
The duo were caught on camera taking two ham and cheese sandwiches from the Kwik Trip on North 8th Street, but weren’t arrested until a few days later.
Busalacchi was seen walking in the area of South 18th and Hamilton Streets on Sunday (August 4th), where she was in possession of the aforementioned drugs.
As a part of their bonds, both were ordered to have no contact with the victim business and each other, while Busalacchi was also ordered to maintain absolute sobriety.
Both are due back in court on August 25th for their initial appearances in Branch 2.
