
There are three meetings on tap for today (August 6th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Board of Public Works will be in the Council Chambers at 4:00 p.m., where they will review bids for the library HVAC replacement project.
They will also look over change orders and pay estimates for various engineering and public works projects.
At the same time, the Rahr-West Museum Board of Directors will meet in the Museum.
After looking over their financial reports, the group will hear from President Natasha Kahn on education, membership, and marketing, and the east lawn project.
Closing out the day will be the Public Infrastructure Committee, which will be in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m.
After hearing comments from the public, the group will look over the 2025-2026 Public Transit Lease Agreement with Maritime Metro and Assist to Transport.
hey will also look over a request submitted by Manitowoc Futbol Club to use a lot off of Michigan Avenue for soccer.
The club currently has nearly 400 children participating and in their request, told the City that they are “outgrowing their soccer fields on Viebahn Street.”
