
There is only one Manitowoc County governmental meeting scheduled for today (August 5th).
The Personnel Committee will be in the County Admin building at 4:30 p.m., where they will give the public time to comment.
They will discuss compensation for the County Executive for the 2026-2030 term before reviewing a grievance filed by the Wisconsin Professional Police Association.
The exact nature of the grievance was not included in the meeting agenda.
Then, after reviewing a county employee’s request for medical leave, the group will continue its ongoing discussion regarding recruiting for the Human Services, Emergency Management, and Sheriff’s Departments.
The City of Manitowoc Room Tax Commission was slated to meet today as well, but that meeting has been cancelled.
