The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation is looking for a new executive director.
Brian Doudna is no longer the head of the group, having stepped down on July 25th, following his family’s relocation to Illinois.
The SCEDC states that Doudna plans to continue contributing to the field of economic development and nonprofit organizations.
During his five years on the job, Dounda led the organization through two Strategic Direction Plans and oversaw the launch of several transformational programs, including the Forward Fund, Live Work Housing Program, and the Innovation Council.
The corporation also brought nearly 200 new housing units into the development pipeline, securing long-term momentum for entry-level single-family homes.
Doudna said, “It has been an honor to serve Sheboygan County and to work alongside such committed corporate partners.”
A search process for his successor will be announced in the coming weeks.
