The Rahr-West Art Museum is opening its latest exhibit as part of a year-long celebration.
The Milestones exhibit will open on Sunday, August 17th, as they continue to recognize their 75th anniversary.
According to the museum, Milestones explores significant moments of change and achievement, capturing pivotal events that shape both personal and collective histories.
The museum will also be hosting a reception for the exhibit on the 17th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with an awards presentation at 2:00 p.m.
Emma Hitzmann, Curator at the Cedarburg Art Museum, was the juror, or person tasked with picking the art pieces for the exhibit, which will be on display until September 14th.
The Rahr-West Art Museum has been celebrating its 75th anniversary throughout the year with numerous events and exhibits.
The first meeting of the Rahr Civic Center took place on September 19th, 1950, allowing the City of Manitowoc to run the museum.
