The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has extended an Air Quality Advisory for all of Wisconsin until noon on Saturday (tomorrow).
Canadian wildfire smoke will impact the state’s surface air quality over the next 24 hours, as widespread haze and smoke will create Air Quality values to reach the “Very Unhealthy” category.
Those who suffer from asthma or heart disease are asked to limit any outdoor or strenuous activities and stay indoors if possible. Please keep quick-relief medicine handy if needed, and contact your health provider if you experience any symptoms.
Seehafer Broadcasting will provide updates on the air quality forecasts as conditions can change quickly during wildfire smoke events. Visit airquality.wi.gov for more information.
