A Brown County nature preserve is looking to get children more involved.
On Saturday, August 9th, the Green Bay Duck Hunters Association is holding its Youth Waterfowl Day at Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve.
The free event introduces the younger generation to duck hunting with various demonstrations and hands-on activities.
Ages 8-16 are encouraged, but all ages are welcome to attend. Registered participants will receive a free hat, t-shirt, duck call, and lunch.
