The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) Board has a new member.
Governor Tony Evers appointed Patti Habeck to the board earlier this month, citing her decades of experience in organizational leadership and regulatory compliance.
As President and CEO of Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, Habeck has led the food bank through significant strategic and financial transformation, strengthening its capacity to provide nutritious food to families across 35 counties.
DATCP Secretary Randy Romanski thanked Gov. Evers, saying, “Ms. Habeck understands the importance of community engagement and has experience connecting hardworking Wisconsin farmers and hungry people in our communities. I look forward to working with her on the DATCP Board.”
