Morgan Geyser, one of the teens involved in the 2014 Slender Man stabbing case, has been approved for conditional release to a treatment facility in Sun Prairie.
Her attorney argued for a move to a Manitowoc facility, where she’d be the only patient.
However, the Sun Prairie location was considered more beneficial due to greater access to therapeutic programs and activities like sewing and knitting.
Judge Scott Wagner approved the relocation after Sun Prairie officials raised no objections.
Geyser, who stabbed a classmate in an attempt to appease the fictional Slender Man, was found not guilty due to mental illness and has been in psychiatric care since.
