A Two Rivers restaurant will be closing its doors in two months.
Nicky’s Good Eats and Treats Owners Nicky and Randy Hallada will be marking their final day in business on September 26th as they retire after a decade of hard work and dedication.
The Hallada’s business was going to be listed for sale, hoping for a reasonable lease payment for a different buyer.
However, according to the owners, their proposed payment was quadruple the current rate, making it unfeasible for new owners to succeed.
The building’s owners then decide to stop the sale, meaning the Hallada’s are unable to sell the business.
Nicky’s Good Eats and Treats expressed their sincere appreciation to their customers for their unwavering support. Nicky and Randy also said they were deeply grateful, “to our outstanding employees both past and present, whose contributions have been instrumental in our success.”
The restaurant is located on S. 22nd Street in Two Rivers and connected to the Mobile gas station.
