A local education center is again offering students the opportunity to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.
The 5th Annual STEAM on the Lakeshore gets underway this Saturday (August 2nd) at the Lakeshore Robotics Education Center on Wollmer Street in Manitowoc from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Local robotics teams will allow attendees to explore interactive exhibits, build and experiment, and watch live robot demonstrations.
Youth robotics teams will also showcase their state-of-the-art robots, demonstrating innovation and teamwork in action.
The program is hosted by Lakeshore FIRST Robotics, which describes itself as a group that does more than just build robots; they also build up people.
