
Following a deadly crash involving a fleeing driver in Milwaukee, a local advocacy group is demanding tougher penalties for those who run from police.
A 28-year-old man died Tuesday after being struck by a suspect in a police pursuit.
Jeanne Lupo, president of Enough is Enough, told CBS 58 that courts are too lenient and fail to consider the risks fleeing drivers pose.
Milwaukee Police are currently authorized to initiate pursuits if they believe a suspect is a danger to human life.
